1 Month Old

Piper is 1 month old today! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of how much she has grown. Just in comparing her New Princess picture (less than 1 week old) to today's 1 Month picture, you can really see how much she's changed in just a few short weeks - Piper's little cheeks have filled out, her now round tummy fills in her newborn shirt better, and the skin rolls on her legs are filling out, too.

Piper is also getting so much stronger and eating so much better. Krystal and Erik are so excited by her progress, but time needs to slow down a little! Next thing you know, she'll be driving.

Sunny constantly checks on Piper but has yet to lick her. Here, Sunny snuck into the photo shoot to make sure Mommy was doing everything correctly.

Sunny obviously misses getting to go bye-bye with Mommy and Daddy. In this picture, you can just hear Sunny saying, "If I hop in this carrier like Piper, will you take me instead?"

More Visitors and a Father's Day Visit

Piper has continued to entertain visitors while we've been hanging out at home. We so enjoy showing her off to everyone!

And Piper made her first trip to Mimi and Grandpa Love's house for Father's Day. Grandpa was so excited that he made Piper the centerpiece during dinner, placing her on the lazy susan and rotating her slowly so that everyone got a nice view. Piper was literally the center of attention!

We had a great Father's Day, but there was one thing missing... Kamryn! She's visiting her dad for six weeks, and it was just a little too quiet around Mimi and Grandpa's house without her. We hope Kam is having fun with her dad and her sister Kennedy, but we can't wait for her to come home!

The little princess is almost one month old! Piper is getting so big already, and Mommy and Daddy are having so much fun watching her grow and change daily.

Piper is also settling into her status as the new princess in all our lives. Mimi and Mommy have had so much fun setting up photo shoots to make sure we remember every minute of her cuteness!

Piper certainly loves her Mimi! And Mommy really appreciates how much Mimi comes by to help out.

Four Generations

Piper finally had the chance to meet one of her great-grandmothers. Momo Galindo thinks Piper looks just like Mommy as a baby. What a special visit for Piper with Mommy, Mimi, and Momo!

We are so glad Momo got to spend some time with Piper, and we hope she'll come back to visit soon. Momo has always told Krystal that there is something very special about your daughter's daughter, and now Momo gets to experience that all over again with her granddaughter's daughter.

2 Weeks Old

Piper is now 2 weeks old and doing very well! The jaundice treatment is finished, and Piper has had so many adventures so far in her little life.

Mommy already loves playing dress up with the little princess! Thank goodness Piper is such a happy baby. She's very tolerant of just about everything, including frequent wardrobe changes.

After hanging out with us for a week, it was difficult for all of us to say goodbye to Grandma Hoyer. Mommy and Daddy won't be at all surprised if Grandma and Grandpa Hoyer decide to move to Houston soon!

Piper was finally introduced to her Grandma and Grandpa Hoyer this weekend. Even though Grandma and Grandpa had gotten pictures and updates all week, we think they really fell in love when they saw sweet Piper in person. We were all so excited that they were able to make it down for the weekend and that Grandma is staying with us for a week!

The more people to love on our sweet baby the better!

Visitors Galore!

Thank you so much to everyone who has visited so far! Now that we're all settled in at home, we'd love to have more visitors during the second week.
